i love the original i do but i know he has the full thing of mungojerrie and rumpleteazer and the conjuring turn and i need it also i want to her Veerle Casteleyn and Geoffrey Garratt voice their characters LISTEN TO THEM Also was Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer dubbed or not. I've see people saying it was that it wasn't that only the giggling and the shushing are dubbed that only the giggling and the shushing are not dubbed I'm confused and am yet to get a straight answer

A cardboard standee cutout of Veerle Casteleyn as Jemima for promotion of the physical release of CATS (1998) in stores.

Standing at a small bit over four and a half feet tall, it is literally Jemima sized!

This was used (or so I am told) in the New London theatre with a section that housed the VHS tapes for sale, which is missing from this, and was likely found beside or close to the merch booth. Even if not used in the theatre itself, it is still a magnificent piece!

Cats 1998 Anniversay Event - Jemima

Child me adored Veerle Casteleyn's Jemima and i still do, now with the feeling of childhood nostalgia. She is such a beautiful and fascinating character with the voice of an angel. i love her!

@none-ofthisnonsense I tried twice to answer your ask about the degree of yellowness in Jemima's wig in the new Napier designs, recent designs before that, and 1998, but tumblr kept eating it and eventually ate the ask too. :( so now I am just going to stick the photos here and and say SOD IT and we can all make our own conclusions.

I wouldn't say I see much difference in the colouring myself: more in the length and the sad lack of spikiness in the Napier re-designs.

You get to cast your own version of Cats to be filmed and turned into a movie!!! the only problem is you can't pick anyone from the 1998 movie, Unless it's for a different role then they were in the move then it's ok but is has to be a role they have once played in the past even if it was as a swing/cover (EX: Fergus Logan as Misto or Veerle Casteleyn as Victoria)

They can be from any production no matter the year or language used and you can pick actors from non-replicas too

Characters like Gus jr., George, and Exotica can be removed if you can't think of anyone but everyone else must stay and you can add other swings of you want and if need be you can change who plays the Rumpus cat and Macavity can have his own Actor if you want. and if you want a actor but they played the character under a different name (EX: Sillabub, Admetus, Carbuckety, Bill Bailly) they are allowed just keep the names from the 1998 movie

In honour of the 25th anniversary of the release of CATS (1998) in the UK today, we all need some Jemima in our lives.

The figurine was made by the San Francisco Music Box Company shortly after the release of the film, and features a music box inside the base that plays Memory (the standard for all CATS music boxes made by the company).

The figurine is made in the likeness of Veerle Casteleyn who played Jemima in the film (and also in a few other productions before and after), with all the finer details hand painted, including the base.

These music boxes are all so much fun!

First day of Cats 1998 Anniversary Celebration! I'm so happy! Today prompt: favourite actor.

And after first excitment I'm sad now. I don't have a fav! I don't know them personally, so I can't say "That one I like, that one don't". I love all of those wonderfull people, because they changed my life. Because of their hard, unusual work they together created somethin amazing, something... well, lifechanging. So, I want to say "Thank you! You are the best! I love you!" to all of them!
